RESIDENT MEDICAL DOCTOR AND ADVISOR

We are MAYAH, a modern women’s health care brand - for every phase of you. Specifically catering to women navigating the various phases of motherhood, from trying to conceive (TTC), pregnancy to postpartum with targeted body care, skincare, hair care and more.

Our mission is to support women through these transformative periods with efficacious, functional, and innovative products that cater to their unique needs—not just as mothers, but as individuals with their own identities and aspirations. We support the shift in identity and celebrate their bodies through every phase of womanhood.

To ensure the highest standards of safety and efficacy, we seek medical expertise to review and endorse our products. We’re looking for partners on this journey—doctors and medical professionals who are passionate about creating the next generation of beauty and wellness products for women, grounded in the much-needed research into women’s health that has been lacking until now.

We are looking for somebody to help with:

1 - Product edit review and sign off

Objective: To thoroughly review and endorse the safety, appropriateness and efficacy of our own brand products for each phase of motherhood and ensure they comply with the highest standards for maternal care.

We would need our resident medical advisor to provide a list of ingredients to avoid, ensuring our products are safe for our target demographic. They need to work alongside our lab to ensure UK, EU and US safety protocols are met also, and then sign off the products as they are created. 

2. Resident expert 

Objective: To establish you as the key medical authority, leveraging your expert advice and insights on product selections and maternal health topics to empower and educate our audience. We'd also like you to be our 'resident expert', showcased on our website.

Scope:

• Simplified contribution process: Our team will lead the content creation process, drafting articles, and assisting with Q&A responses based on your input and approval. Your role will involve providing the necessary expert advice and insights, which we will then craft into engaging and informative content for our audience. This approach is designed to minimise your time commitment while maximising the impact of your expertise.

• Adaptable contribution method: Our main priority is to ensure that contributing to our platform feels seamless and undemanding. We will adapt to your preferred style of communication, whether that involves direct answers to specific questions, brief notes, or any other method that suits you best. This flexibility allows us to leverage your expertise without significantly adding to your workload.

• Timeline: Within 2 months of the project start, we aim to develop the initial content based on your expertise. We understand the importance of your time and commitments, so ongoing contributions will be scheduled at your convenience, ensuring a collaboration that respects your professional and personal bandwidth.

Long-term collaboration and vision:

Continued Partnership: As our platform grows, we envision a lasting partnership with you, involving periodic product reviews, content updates and advisory support.

Social Media Presence: Engage with our audience through our social media platforms, sharing insights, tips and engaging in dialogue around maternal health and wellness.

Speaking Engagements: Represent MAYAH as our medical resident or our medical expert at panels, events and conferences, sharing your expertise and contributing to the wider conversation on maternal health.

Compensation structure:

Short-Term: A project fee, reflective of the scope and depth of the review and consultation services provided. The specifics of this fee will be discussed and agreed upon based on the detailed requirements and estimated time commitment.

Long-Term: As we transition to a long-term partnership, we will discuss and agree upon a retainer fee arrangement that aligns with the ongoing value and contributions to our platform, equity options are also subject to negotiation.
